With over 2,000 native plant species in PA, there are lots of possibilities. Before bringing in any new species however, we are driven to preserve existing native plant populations when possible, which often benefit enormously from invasive plant removal or other interventions.

Ecological landscaping can be overwhelming. We are happy to act as your guide and consultant, providing the seeds, plants, info/educational tools and ongoing instruction to execute and maintain your very own ecological restoration project. 

Maintenance Coaching

Phasing out the chores. One goal of an ecological landscape is to reduce maintenance to the absolute minimum. By establishing dense, native plant communities that naturally outcompete weeds and stabilize the soil, we move your property away from constant mowing, watering and heavy weeding. As the landscape matures, it begins to function as a self-sustaining ecosystem—shifting the workload from labor-intensive upkeep to simple, occasional tasks. In many cases, native plant populations already exist, and just require some assistance in order to populate an area. 

Personalized, site-specific guidance in habitat restoration. Our goal is that by the time the session ends, you have the confidence to take the lead. This comes with homework!
